macbookSeawolves MarketPlace has partnered with Apple, Inc. to bring students great deals on Apple products and solutions. Seawolves MarketPlace now features a fully interactive demonstration station for students, faculty and staff to test out the various laptop models and to see the power of Apple hardware and software in action.

Students can browse a selection of Apple products at the Seawolves MarketPlace and then place their order online through the Apple Store for Education. To receive their discount, Stony Brook students, faculty and staff must sign in with their Net ID and password.

“The demo station will allow students to feel more comfortable when making a purchase because they will already have tried the product,” said Seawolves MarketPlace Assistant Manager Kenneth Schaal.

“We’re hoping that the added selection of Apple products at Seawolves MarketPlace will help students to save money on the electronics they need for their education,” said Faculty Student Association Executive Director Kevin Kelly. “We’re happy to be working with the Department of Information Technology to provide students with great deals on their favorite Apple products.”

Seawolves MarketPlace hopes to continue to expand their partnership with the Apple Store for Education in the near future to include other products such as the iPad.
