Stony Brook Seawolves Football Players Lift Spirits of Hospitalized Kids with Monday Visit to Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital

STONY BROOK, NY, November 5, 2012 – Fresh off their 7th straight win on Saturday at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium, Stony Brook Seawolves star football players including senior Miguel Maysonet (RB), senior Kyle Essington (QB), senior Kevin Norrell (WR), senior Chris Fenelon (FB) and junior Marcus Coker (RB), visited young hospitalized patients at Stony Brook Children’s today to lift their spirits and hand out team treats like wash-off Wolfie tattoos, football helmet shaped key chains and autographed posters and player photos. The staff was just as excited by the visit as they all posed for photos with the rising football stars.

The #8-ranked Stony Brook plays its final regular season game against Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia at 3:30 pm this Saturday (ESPN 3; WUSB 90.1 FM).
