Turning the Town Pink for Breast Cancer

STONY BROOK, NY, OCTOBER 1, 2014 – Yusuf Hannun, MD, Director of the Stony Brook Cancer Center, received a proclamation yesterday from Town of Brookhaven Supervisor, Ed Romaine, and Town of Brookhaven officials in recognition of “Turn the Town Pink,” a month-long community health education initiative. The proclamation helped kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
