Nearly 100 unique works of bra-art will be on display and up for auction at the Charles B. Wang Center on Thursday, April 14. Funds raised at the event will support patient programs at Stony Brook University Cancer Center.

WHAT: These ‘Bodacious Bras’ were created by caregivers, patients, survivors, healthcare workers and artists from local high schools, the North Shore Art Guild, Brookhaven Arts Council and LI Craft Guild. Some were crafted or inspired by celebrity contestants like actor Ralph Macchio, NY Mets pitcher Steven Matz, Marty Lyons from the NY Jets, Victoria’s Secret Angel Lindsay Ellingson, Radio personality Fingers from WBAB, the NY Yankees, NY Islanders, NY Rangers, WWE, and more.

The silent auction begins at 6pm and continues until 7:30pm when the live auction begins and the bras will be sold to the highest bidder. All proceeds will benefit the patient programs at Stony Brook University Cancer Center.

DIRECTIONS: LIE to Exit 62. North on Nicolls Road. Cross Nesconset Highway (Route 347). Follow University signs; turn left into Main Entrance (second entrance) onto Shirley Kenny Drive. Follow entrance roadway to parking garage, which is attached to the Administration Building. The Charles B. Wang Center is straight across from the parking garage.
