Kaitlyn Suarez (front left) donated a Plasma TV, Wii system, Blue Ray DVD system, dvds, and Wii games to the Stony Brook University Medical Center Pediatrics Unit. Kaitlyn spent time in the SBUMC Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit battling cancer. Her Shoram/Wading River High School lacrosse coach Bob Vlahakis and teammates held a benefit in her name at a school lacrosse game that raised money for Kaitlyn. She decided to use the money to give back to SBUMC and purchased gifts for pediatric inpatients. Also pictured with Kaitlyn are her Coach Bob Vlahakis and Corinne Wiederkehr and Codi Mullen.
