‘Writers Speak Wednesdays’ Returns to Southampton Arts

‘Writers Speak Wednesdays,’ the popular free and open to the public series of readings and author talks sponsored by the MFA in Creative Writing and Literature program at Stony Brook Southampton, returns for the spring semester on Wednesday, February 15, at 7 pm with a reading by Helen Schulman in the Radio Lounge at the Stony Brook Southampton campus.
Schulman is the author of the novels “This Beautiful Life,” “A Day at the Beach,” “P.S.,” “The Revisionist” and “Out of Time,” and the short story collection “Not a Free Show.” She teaches in the Writing Program at The New School where she is Fiction Coordinator.
On February 22
Michael Shnayerson and David Margolick, both long-time contributing editors at Vanity Fair are the featured authors.
Future guests in the series include Carl Safina, Hillary Thayer Hamann, Scott Chaskey, Rachel Pastan, Larry Kirshbaum, in conversation with Daniel Menaker, Joshua Henkin and Ann Packer.
