Stony Brook Celebrates a Year of Giving and Service with ’31 Days of Giving Back’

Communiversity17

Each year, Stony Brook University students, faculty, staff and alumni share their time and talent through thousands of community service hours, and each year that effort is celebrated with ‘31 Days of Giving Back.’

The blog, published by the Office of Community Relations, showcases the many ways Stony Brook University is making a difference in the community by highlighting an event or initiative from the past 12 months every day throughout the month of December.

From organizing clothing drives to blood donations to bringing a smile to a veteran’s face, Stony Brook University is committed to sustained, lifelong community engagement, and has a positive impact on friends and neighbors locally and around the world.

Learn more about the good work the Stony Brook University community did in 2017 by visiting the ’31 Days of Giving Back’ blog.

Family fun was had by all at Stony Brook’s first CommUniversity Day in September.
