Seawolves Basketball Is Back

Single game tickets are on sale for both women’s and men’s basketball at Island Federal Arena. Get your tickets and wear red for the women’s home opener on Tuesday, November 9, against Delaware State at 6:30 pm.

The women’s program is coming off of a trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the America East Championship. First-year head coach Ashley Langford leads the Seawolves into the 2021-22 campaign. The Seawolves return Conference Sixth Player of the Year McKenzie Bushee, as well as All-Conference performers India Pagan and Anastasia Warren

Admission is free for undergraduate SBU students.

Then get ready to do it again for the men’s home opener on Thursday, November 22, against Sacred Heart at 6:30 pm. The men start off the season away at George Mason University on November 9 and then at University of Kansas on November 18. Join the Seawolves family at the Village Idiot Pub in Lake Grove on November 18 to watch the game.

Men’s basketball head coach Geno Ford enters his third season at the helm. Stony Brook returns All-America East Third Team guard Juan Felix Rodriguez and brings in a host of talent that compiled the most career points of any incoming transfer class in the country as Jahlil Jenkins, Anthony Roberts, Elijah Olaniyi and Tanahj Pettway call Long Island home.
