Online Student Art Exhibitions Opening on Zuccaire Gallery Website

PRESENCE | ABSENCE Opens Online April 15

PRESENCE | ABSENCE presents new work by Stony Brook University’s graduating Master of Fine Arts students, Julia Miller and Joseph Santarpia. Both artists are degree candidates in the Department of Art’s MFA program. The online exhibition presents painting, sculpture, video and installation work as images and videos with clickable links to details, artist statements and bios, and more information.

Presence absenceThe artists will speak about their work live on Zoom on Thursday, April 16 at 4 pm and Thursday, April 23 at 4pm. Links to the live Zoom and the exhibition are available on the Zuccaire Gallery webpage.

Senior Show and URECA 2020 Open Online May 1

Stony Brook University will present its annual exhibition of works by senior art majors and minors and digital art minors. The juried Senior Show 2020 includes paintings, sculpture, ceramics, prints, photographs, digital media, mixed-media installations and works on paper by this year’s graduating class.
