Humanities Institute Faculty Fellow Program Accepting Applications

HumanitiesThe Humanities Institute at Stony Brook (HISB) is again offering its Faculty Fellow Program, which is made possible as part of President Samuel L. Stanley’s initiative in the Arts, Humanities and Lettered Social Sciences. Three semester-long fellowships are available for the 2016-17 academic year. The deadline for applications is December 4, 2015, and applications must be received via e-mail by 5 pm to hisb@stonybrook.edu.

The fellowships are targeted for one tenure-track assistant professor, one associate professor and one is open to all levels, including lecturers with lines in the Arts, Humanities and Lettered Social Sciences who wish to complete or further an established research project for publication. These projects should benefit from and contribute to HISB’s mission of interdisciplinary knowledge production and transmission.
