Stony Brook University understands the challenges that members of the local Long Island community are facing in the current job market as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a way to help recent graduates and displaced workers navigate a difficult job market, the Career Center from the Division of Student Affairs is offering a two-day virtual workshop series, hosted by Senior Career Coach Marie Parziale. Co-sponsored by the Stony Brook Career Center, Alumni Relations and Community Relations Offices, these workshops will provide the tools and resources to improve the job search and are open to local community members and families of Stony Brook University faculty and staff.
“In these difficult times, we are pleased to be able to lend our support to our local community,” said Rick Gatteau, Vice President for Student Affairs. “These workshops led by the Career Center aim to provide insights and tools to help enhance the job search.”
