Screen Shot 2016-10-25 at 3.40.40 PMThe 2016-2017 season at the Staller Center for the Arts kicked off this October, featuring an all-star line-up of talented artists from around the world.

First-time Stony Brook University students and transfer students can go to their first show at the Staller Center for free using the center’s First On Us promotion. Stony Brook students can also use their ID for half-price tickets.

Among the many artists who will be taking the stage are Itzhak Perlman, world-renowned violinist, Kelli O’Hara, Tony-award-winner for The King and I, and the nine-time Grammy award-winning Emerson String Quartet.

“Our new season represents culture,” said Julie Greene, director of marketing and public relations at the Staller Center. “Get out of your safety zone. Come hear classical music, come see dance. Come experience something you’ve never seen before, that’s what college is all about.”
