Human Resources Releases SOLAR Report Guidance

Campus shot

Human Resource Services has released a message setting forth guidance for supervisors concerning SOLAR reports for employee self-screening. The message reads as follows:

Coning Back Safe and StrongThe following provides a direct link to Supervisors’ instructions for monitoring employee daily health self-screening. All supervisors are required to ensure that employees within their jurisdictions screen daily prior to arriving on campus and complete the COVID-19 Daily Health Self-Screening within one (1) hour of arriving on campus.

Supervisors may access SOLAR to review employee daily health self-screening. The SOLAR report provides a view of compliance/non-compliance by the supervisor’s direct reports as well as a broader view, where appropriate, of indirect reports. SOLAR will display employee name, Empl ID, date and time of the employee’s attestation that the screening was completed. No health-related information will be available to supervisors.

We appreciate your efforts to keep our campus safe. Please also be sure to consider employee privacy and maintain employee confidentiality.

Supervisor instructions on how to access COVID-19 screening reporting can be found at Supervisor’s SOLAR Report Instructions.
