This week, Stony Brook’s Dr. John Rizzo, Professor of Economics & Preventive Medicine, Division of Occupational, Environmental and Clinical Preventive Program in Public Health, joins Nexus Staff founder and president Finny Varghese on the Long Island Business Report (WLIW-TV), hosted by the Emmy-Award winning journalist, Jim Paymar.
The two experts tackle a range of issues related to the Affordable Care Act and offer advice on how business leaders can plan for the new regulations to remain compliant and avoid fees.
Dr. Rizzo is one of 30 health economists to place on top 50 lists in world rankings for both numbers of articles published and for total pages published in the field of health economics from 1991-2000; ranked 15th in total pages published (lists published in May 2003 issue of Health Economics). He also serves as the Long Island Association’s Chief Economist.
