The Clean Energy Business Incubator Program (CEBIP) at Stony Brook University has graduated its second company, Re-Nuble, a 2015 startup that is bringing “harvestable energy” to the market with a technology that uses anaerobic digesters to biologically break down biodegradable materials.
CEBIP is funded by the New York State Research and Development Agency (NYSERDA). In operation since October 2011, CEBIP provides assistance and resources for developers of renewable and clean-energy technologies.
After slowdowns related to the COVID pandemic, Re-Nuble is now ready to release its first commercial products, therefore ending its time in the incubator program.
Re-Nuble follows CEBIP’s first-ever graduate, 2012 startup ThermoLift in December 2020.
