Join the ‘Girl Power in STEM: Break the Bias!’ Symposium on March 5

Girl power in stem 3Girl Power in STEM: Break the Bias! is a symposium that celebrates the accomplishments of women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. It will be held on Saturday, March 5, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm via Zoom; a link will be sent to you after you sign up.

Lecturers and panelists will discuss the impact of women in STEM careers, on the work environment, and on the economy; how we as a society can improve women participation in STEM fields. Bringing together women from academia, government and private sectors, this event will also help up-and-coming young professionals learn about women’s experiences in STEM fields. 

Meet the speakers

Join the International Women’s Day 2022 community in creating a gender equal world. Through the symposium discussions, stereotypes will be challenged and perceptions will be broadened. Be an agent of change in your local community and continue to promote and sustain women in STEM fields.
