With the victory, the Seawolves improve to 12-0 (4-0 AE) so far this year.

“Nice to improve to 4-0 in conference action, but I think we are capable of playing at a higher level,” said head coach Joe Spallina. “Our schedule and the weather this past week made it tough for us to practice, so I am very much looking forward to a full week of preparation for a great Johns Hopkins team on Friday night.”

Ohlmiller is now just 23 total points away from breaking the NCAA Division I career record in total points scored. The senior captain is also just 17 assists away from the NCAA Division I career record.

The Seawolves outshot Binghamton 39-16 in total, and won 13 of 24 draw controls. Stony Brook is now 15-1 all-time vs. the Bearcats.

With the win, Stony Brook remains one of only two undefeated Division I teams.

NEXT UP: JOHNS HOPKINS

  • Friday’s contest vs. Johns Hopkins will be Kylie Ohlmiller Bobblehead Night. The first 500 fans to enter LaValle Stadium will receive the limited edition bobblehead.
