Girls Soccer Team Helps Homeless

Girlssoccerhomeless

GirlsSoccerHomelessThe Stony Brook University girls soccer team took center stage in support of the Long Island Coalition’s Candlelight Vigil for the Homeless held at Farmingdale University. More than a thousand advocates and homeless Long Islanders gathered to raise awareness about the plight of the homeless in our community. The Stony Brook girls helped distribute donations to the homeless families who attended the event and lent their muscle to transfer boxes of clothes, baby supplies, food, and other donations. The girls were very moved by the experience and hope to participate again next year.
