“Writers Speak” Continues at Southampton

Provocative and entertaining “Writers Speak” talks will continue on Wednesday, September 30, at Stony Brook Southampton with fiction writer Scott Snyder. His debut collection of short stories is Voodoo Heart. Snyder, who has taught at Columbia, NYU, and Sarah Lawrence, has published in Zoetrope, Tin House, One-Story, Epoch, and Small Spiral Notebook. He is currently working on a novel for the Dial Press.

The talks are part of the MFA in Writing and Literature program and its popular series of literary events, which take place on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in Duke Lecture Hall and are free and open to the public.
