Swing Dance Long Island Begins Monthly Residency at Jazz Loft

swing danceThe Jazz Loft in Stony Brook Village is the new home of Swing Dance Long Island’s (SDLI) monthly dances, with the first one kicking off on Saturday, September 10. This is a venue change for any SBU students that used to attend SDLI Saturday dances at the Brush Barn in Smithtown. The Jazz Loft is located at 275 Christian Avenue in Stony Brook.

The September 10 event features Tommy James and His All Stars at 8 pm, with a beginner swing dance lesson before the show at 7:30 pm. All are welcome; no partner is necessary.

Admission is $15 general, $13 students with ID, $10 SDLI members.

Swing Dance Long Island is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of swing dancing on Long Island, New York.
