Sbmedapprecday

SBMedApprecDayStaller Center for the Arts hosted Stony Brook Medicine Appreciation Day on Valentine’s Day, February 14, with a remote box office outside of Stony Brook Medicine’s Marketplace Café. Discounts were offered to live performances and free movie tickets were given to new patrons joining the Staller Center e-mail list. Staller Center Director Alan Inkles created the day to thank Stony Brook Medicine for their sponsorship and to increase awareness of Staller Center’s offerings among staff members.

Several hundred medical staffers stopped by to learn more about the Center, and a large portion signed up to win Staller Center gift cards. The winners of the gift cards are Pam Lee, Justin Lawrence and Sophie McHaffey.

Staller Center plans to hold another Stony Brook Medicine Appreciation Day in the near future.
