“Smoke and Mystery” Magic Show at Staller Center November 1

Nelson illusions

Nelson IllusionsPerfect for the day after Halloween, Nelson Illusions “Smoke and Mystery” will have you on the edge of your seat. This thrilling magic show — coming to Staller Center at Stony Brook University on Sunday, November 1, at 4 pm — is filled with stunning effects and mega-illusions like the 21-foot Drill of Death.

The Nelson magicians channel Victorian steampunk for their magic show’s look, inspired by movies like Howl’s Moving Castle, Twenty-Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Audiences will be entertained, stunned and left wondering, “How did they do that?”

All tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.stallercenter.com or by calling the Box Office at (631) 632-ARTS. The Staller Center Box Office is open Monday through Saturday from 12 pm to 6 pm and one hour before performances. Parking in the Visitors’ Parking Garage is free for Staller Center ticketed performances.
