“Expressionism in the 21st Century: Part 2,” a symposium sponsored by Thomas and Marika Herskovic, will be held at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center on Sunday, May 19, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
In a round-table discussion, the panel will address the relevance of expressionism, both figurative and abstract, in contemporary art. Speakers include artists Sally Egbert, Connie Fox, Colin Goldberg, Carol Hunt and Haim Mizrahi. Linda Hatofsky, widow of West Coast expressionist painter Julius Hatofsky, will discuss her late husband’s work, and contributions from the audience are welcome.
Admission is free, and no reservations are required. The Pollock-Krasner House is located at 840 Springs-Fireplace Road in East Hampton.
