The Martha Graham Dance Company, one of the most celebrated contemporary dance companies in the world, comes to Staller Center on Saturday, February 20, at 8:00 pm in an exclusive Long Island appearance.

The Martha Graham Dance Company will perform some of the most celebrated works by Martha Graham, the dancer and choreographer who founded the company in 1926. “Prelude and Revolt,” a multi-media theatrical event that includes six dances, charts Martha Graham’s creative revolution. It is followed by Graham classics, “Lamentation Variations,” the “Suite from Appalachian Spring,” and “Diversions of Angels.” The performance brings context to Graham’s revolutionary contributions to American dance and theater and celebrates her remarkable impact on 20th-century art.

For tickets, order online at www.stallercenter.com or call the Staller Center Box Office at 632-ARTS. Tickets are $42; $39 for seniors and students; and half-price for children ages 12 and under.
