Graduate Student Work Now on Display at Staller Center

New works of art by five graduate art students will be exhibited in the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery (formerly the University Art Gallery) at Staller Center now through Tuesday, April 15. A reception honoring the artists will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Gallery.

MFA Thesis Exhibit 2014 includes works on paper and mixed media works by Gina Altadonna, Joanna Bavero, Katharine Moriarty, Fatima Shakil and Nicholas Warndorf. All five artists are degree candidates in the Master of Fine Arts program in Stony Brook University’s Department of Art. The exhibition is accompanied by an eight-page catalog that includes reproductions of each artist’s work.

Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday from 12 pm to 4 pm and Saturday from 7 pm to 9 pm. Admission is free. For more information, please call the Gallery at (631) 632-7240.
