Enjoy a remarkable jazz night at Staller Center with Cristina Pato, pop star of the gaita in her native Spain. She and her quartet will play an extraordinary blend of jazz and Latin sounds on Saturday, November 12, at 8 pm in the Recital Hall.

Tickerts are $38 at stallercenter.com or at (631) 632-ARTS.

The gaita is a version of the bagpipe from Pato’s native region of Galicia, and she has been hailed as “one of the living masters of the Gaita” in The Wall Street Journal.

Recently returned from presenting the premiere of The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble in Germany, Pato will be touring in China, Korea and Taiwan soon after performing at Staller Center.
