A seasonal tradition at Stony Brook will feature members of the University Orchestra and selected vocal soloists and conductors in a performance of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 11, in the Recital Hall at Staller Center at 3:00 pm. The audience is the chorus.
Conductors will include graduate students Enrico Sartori and Joshua Schwalbach along with undergraduate students Zachary Gursky, Mohit Mansukhani, and Dallas Garvin, and also Susan Deaver, who is the conductor of the University Orchestra. Soloists include undergraduate music students Katherine Simonetti, soprano; Marie Cushmore, mezzo-soprano; Emma Chylinski, mezzo-soprano; Dallas Garvin, tenor; Julien Touafek, baritone; and graduate student John Hudson, bass.
