The suspense of a classic murder mystery comes to Staller Center’s Main Stage on Saturday, October 15, at 8 pm. Aquila Theatre, in its 25th anniversary season, stages “Murder on the Nile,” a drama by one of the greatest mystery writers in world literature, Agatha Christie.

The setting is a BBC radio studio in London during World War II. Some members of the cast arrive and prepare for a live radio broadcast of “Murder on the Nile,” set on a paddle steamer cruising the legendary Nile River in 1940s Egypt. As an air raid prevents the full cast from assembling, the question becomes, “Can the show go on?”

Enjoy an evening of theater staged as a live radio show taking place within the play. The three cast members, Lincoln Hudson, Palmyra Mattner and Toby Miller, play more than 10 roles in the play, directed by Peter Meineck.

Tickets are $38 at stallercenter.com or (631) 632-ARTS.
