A total of 24 Stony Brook baseball student-athletes represented the Seawolves in eight different leagues around the nation this past summer. Seven of the Seawolves earned All-Star status, including rising senior Michael Russell (Staten Island, N.Y.) in the PGCBL, rising sophomore John Tuccillo (Clinton Corners, N.Y.) in the Hampton League, rising sophomore Jake Alba (South Plainfield, N.J.) and incoming freshmen Evan Giordano and Nick DeGennaro in the ABCCL, rising junior Chris Hamilton (Schenectady, N.Y.) in the GLSCL and rising senior Cristian Montes (Pacioma, Calif.) in the Northwoods League.
