In his role as President of the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS), Samuel Ryu, MD, Professor and Chair, Department of Radiation Oncology, and Deputy Director, Clinical Affairs, Stony Brook University Cancer Center, welcomed participants to the 12th ISRS congress held in Yokohama, Japan, in early June.

This biennial congress is one of world’s top meetings regarding cerebral stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy. And Dr. Ryu is an internationally recognized expert in the field.

This year’s overall theme was “Meet the Experts and Share the Experiences.” Read more.
