Jameel Warney ‘16 has made Stony Brook University history. As of Sunday, March 12, this alumnus and 40 Under Forty honoree has officially joined the Dallas Mavericks on a 10-day contract, making him Stony Brook’s first NBA player.

He may be on a Texas team, but Warney’s making his way back to New York twice in these next 10 days, giving alumni and friends a chance to cheer him on. Break out your Stony Brook swag, get your red on and come out to support your fellow alum as the Mavericks take on the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets!
