
Stony Brook University President Samuel L. Stanley Jr., MD, will discuss successes and challenges in campus internationalization as a participant in the 2018 Senator Paul Simon Award Presidential Panel on November 13, 2018. The event takes place beginning at 5:30 pm and may be viewed via live webcast.
Earlier this year, Stony Brook University was honored with a Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization by NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Named after the late Senator Paul Simon of Illinois, the award recognizes outstanding innovation and accomplishment in integrating international education throughout all facets of university and college campuses.
President Stanley will speak as part of a panel of honorees moderated by Esther D. Brimmer, NAFSA’s Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Viewers may participate in the engaging dialogue by submitting questions in advance. Selected questions will be addressed during the live event.
