On August 8, Stony Brook University’s Southampton campus was host to Checkpoints of the Future, the second installment of Brevet Capital’s annual Brevet Summit Series. Created by Brevet Capital Founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer Doug Monticciolo ’84, ’85 (above), the event convened leaders from various business sectors, philanthropic entities, academic and research institutions, creative organizations and government at Stony Brook’s Marine Sciences Center in an effort to facilitate essential conversations and spark new thinking about ongoing challenges.
