‘Making Sense of the News: News Literacy Lessons for Digital Citizens’ Online Course From the Center for News Literacy

The Center for News Literacy, part of Stony Brook’s School of Journalism, is partnering with the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at the University of Hong Kong to present an online course on Coursera, “Making Sense of the News: News Literacy Lessons for Digital Citizens.”

This six-week online course is designed to help consumers decipher fake news from legitimate information by developing the critical reasoning skills necessary to judge the reliability of information on any media platform.
