Stephen Rabeno ’91, PhD, LCSW-R is the Associate Director of Hope House Ministries, a local not-for-profit agency located in Port Jefferson, NY and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University in the School of Social Welfare. In addition to teaching a variety of courses on the bachelor’s and master’s level, he is presently the chair of the policy sequence. He holds a license in clinical social work where he has been practicing as a couple counselor for more than 25 years. His research interests include intimate relationship issues, social justice and addressing the needs of the homeless.
