
In addition to his active support as an alumnus, Larry has also served the University in other important capacities. In 1979 he was appointed Adjunct Professor by then Stony Brook President Dr. John Marburger III. Later, he became the youngest Director of Operations, responsible for running various businesses including food and beverage service, recreation, and other ancillary campus services with total annual revenues over $10 million dollars.
In 1997, Larry founded Expedite Video Conferencing Services, Inc.(VCS), which began as a local videoconference equipment and service reseller and grew into an integrated service provider throughout New York State. In just two years, Expedite became the largest value added reseller in the northeast and continued to establish itself as a leader in a variety of applications for videoconferencing in government and business enterprises.
Larry launched myVRM, the Versatile Resource Manager, a web based access solution in 2006. myVRM schedules multipoint communications, tracks meetings and launches calls to the endpoints while providing complete resource management, catering and housekeeping. Larry has been awarded a patent for his work on multipoint communications and has two additional patents pending.
His other accomplishments include serving as President of LeHavre Owners Corporation (a 1,000+ family waterfront cooperative complex), Vice President of Judicate, Inc., and President of Expedite NYC (one of the top mediation / arbitration companies in the NY Metropolitan area).
Larry lives in Manhasset, New York with his long- time girlfriend Brenda and their five children.
