After 30+ years in Long Island manufacturing companies including a start-up, went back for my Stony Brook MBA full-time and graduated in May, 2017. I joined the Stony Brook Small Business Development Center as a Business Advisor specializing in Manufacturing companies (we facilitate connections to capital, university & industry resources, and support for start-ups and companies up to 500 staff) part-time and doing business development back in my previous industry (showcase and cabinet locks) of 26 years for Boa Security Technologies in Huntington. The Stony Brook MBA was a great update and retooling of my business skill set – also met great fellow students and faculty to stay connected with.
