Stony Brook University will welcome Prince Emmanuel de Merode on Wednesday, November 28, on the main stage at the Staller Center for the Performing Arts. The noted conservationist and director of the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo will screen the Oscar-nominated documentary Virunga — which depicts the efforts to protect the park from poachers, armed militia and other threats — followed by a question and answer session with the audience. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, to RSVP, or to submit questions, visit stonybrook.edu/presidentiallecture.
