Start Smart WorkshopDC area alumni are invited to join Stony Brook Career Center Director Marianna Savoca for Start Smart, a workshop designed to empower women with the skills and confidence to successfully negotiate their salary and benefits packages.

Following remarks by Elizabeth Kanick ’00, ’01, Deputy Chief of Staff for Senator Blumenthal, Savoca will teach participants skills that will help them to:

  • improve their lifelong earning potential
  • articulate their value
  • build confidence in their negotiation style
  • sharpen their budgeting skills
