Career Advisors Network Helps Ease Transition from College to Career

Career advisors networkvideo

Stony Brook University’s Career Advisors Network is designed to ease the transition from college to career by matching current SBU students with professionals. The goals of this connection are to increase career knowledge and provide students with an opportunity to grow, learn and develop.

In the video below, Errol Cockfield ’94 and Stephanie Brumsey ’09 talk about their mentor-mentee relationship and how the program benefited them both.

CAN Mentors like Errol are professionals who volunteer time to network with and provide career advice to participants looking to learn more about their industry of interest, professional experience and growth opportunities.
