    In 2013 @BillyJoel gifted #StonyBrookU a grand piano made by @BosendorferOfficial, an imperial model that measures nearly ten-feet.     #Repost @somas.sbu: On Monday, #StonyBrookU lost an indomitable friend and tireless advocate, Erwin P. Staller, Hon. ’01, Stony Brook Foundation Emeritus Trustee and CEO of Staller Associates. Born in 1921, Erwin was a visionary philanthropist, one of Long Island’s most admired commercial real estate entrepreneurs, and a loyal and generous friend to Stony Brook University and the @StallerCenter. Erwin briefly held the @guinnessworldrecords for oldest #scuba diver in the world when he completed a dive on October 24, 2014. He held the record until 2017.  Video from that record-setting dive is available at the following link:  https://vimeo.com/111595530 He will be missed, but left an #inspiring #legacy for us all. #farbeyond
